Inventor Creates Soundless Sound System

23 April 2005

Elwood "Woody" Norris, inventor of the AirScooter, a personal flying machine designed for commuting, has invented another device that is dangerous to personal freedom used wrongly. He calls it a HyperSonic Sound system. The operator simply points a metal frequency emitter at a person and the sound the operator wants you to hear is heard inside that person’s head. In a demonstration the emitter, an aluminum square, was hooked up by a wire to a CD player, and when the pad was pointed at a particular person they heard a waterfall. It works by sending a focused beam of sound above the range of human hearing. When it lands on you, it seems like sound is coming from inside your head.

The technology is seen as useful in cars, in the airport or at home because it will not interfere with what other people desire to listen to. The problem is that sound is both a potential weapon and brainwashing device. It has been used as both on many occasions in the past. The eastern communists have been masters at using sound for brainwashing and we saw a primitive demonstration of the use of sound as a weapon in the taking into custody of Manuel Noriega in Panama. The ability to focus sound directly at people increases the possibilities of the use of sound in both capacities and moves sound as a weapon into the future that was once foreseen only by science fiction writers.

Norris' won the $500,000 annual Lemelson-MIT Prize, an award coveted by inventors. I predict it will not be long before the applications of this invention make the dollar value of the prize look like small potatoes. Law enforcement will soon be clamoring for this invention for use in everything from giving verbal orders in the heads of speeding drivers to solving hostage crisis situations.

As a premillenial, pretribulational Christian I see this new device as a potential tool for the Antichrist to carry out his satanic delusion when he comes on the scene. Already there is the ability to make images appear in the sky or in a room through optical technology that most people are ignorant of. The ability to send delusionial experiences has become as easy as having the right equipment in the 21st century.
