Election Victory Is The Lord's

In order for Bush to win the Presidency this time he had to compete against the organizations of the Democratic National Convention, the “Clintonistas,” liberal papers like the New York Times, whanged out Hollywood (Michael Moore, Bruce Springsteen, Barbara Streisand, Robert Redford and a host of others), Networks like CBS and CNN, Academia, the union organizers (AFL/CIO goon squads), ACLU, NAACP, NPR, NEA, NOW, Move On dot org., Kofi Annan Mohamed ElBaradei, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Jacques Chirac (and all his bottom feeder foreign nation friends), the career idiots at the State Department and the CIA. And, I have not exhausted the list.

How did he then win the election? I believe that God was on his side and that puts him in the majority. Why was God on George W’s side? It may not be Bush won because he is so good, but because his opposition was so bad. Evil has triumphed before and it did this time in some local elections as well as Senate races. What made the difference was in the number of prayers that went up around the world. Just as people in France, Germany, England, Syria, and many other places were pulling against George Bush, countless Christians around the world were offering up prayers.

Since the election, I have heard from friends in many places such as India. Many of them are also sending letters of congratulations to George Bush. They are not world leaders but people whose lives are impacted by the fact Bush continues in office. They are keenly aware that the persecution of Christians declined when this President took up the gauntlet thrown down by Osama bin Laden in the way that he did after 911. This is why so many Christians around the world were pulling for George W. Bush. I agree with David Virtue, founder of Virtuosity, that the Bush win is a win for moral values, but the victory is clearly the Lord’s.

God made it plain that this victory was His in the numbers at the end, numbers that were out of all proportion to the challenge Bush had faced. In spite of the massive voter fraud and nation wide efforts to intimidate voters launched by the Democratic fellow travelers George Bush became the first President re-elected while gaining seats in the House and Senate since 1936. Democrats have wanted to denigrate the massive voter turn out by pointing to population increases, and they have tried to obscure facts by claiming Bush stole the 2000 election, but the truth is that he is the first candidate to win by a majority since 1988. Now, I do not think that everyone will see the hand of God in this. Some liberal religious leaders would not recognize the hand of God if it started writing “Mene, Mene..” on a column in their chapel. So I was not surprised to already hear some poor deluded woman bemoaning Kerry’s loss because some ballots that are from suspicious registrations have not been counted. She is not smart enough to realize there are not enough ballots to make a difference in spite of George Soros and his ilk’s millions spent trying to buy the election.

Eleven states carried constitutional amendments protecting traditional marriage on their ballots. Of these eleven states had the issue carry. Yes, that is eleven of eleven, and look at the percentages by which they carried:

Arkansas, 75% approval
Georgia, 77% approval
Kentucky, 75% approval
Michigan, 59% approval
Mississippi, 86% approval
Montana, 66% approval
North Dakota, 73% approval
Ohio, 62% approval
Oklahoma, 76% approval
Oregon, 57% approval
Utah, 66% approval

Besides these numbers Florida passed an amendment requiring parental notification before a minor could have an abortion, and,

Seven pro-life members were added to the United States Senate:

Johnny Isakson (R-GA)
Tom Coburn (R-OK)
Jim DeMint (R-SC)
Richard Burr (R-NC)
John Thune (R-SD)
David Vitter (R-LA)
Mel Martinez (R-FL)

The big disappointment was that Alan Keyes did not win, but we take comfort in the fact that seven is a perfect number. We pray that soon this blight of abortion on the nation will be removed.

I maintain the victory is clearly the Lord’s. I am also certain that those who do evil will try to bring it to nothing.
